SpLD (Dyslexia) Assessments and Learning Support Therapies

Get the learning support you need through clinician-led SpLD assessments and neuro-affirming therapies designed to strengthen learning, wellbeing and outcomes.

Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD) Assessments

Masters Advanced Clinical Care (MACC) offers comprehensive Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD) assessments, including dyslexia, for children, young people, and adults.

Our assessments are evidence-based, strengths-focused, and clinically robust, exploring how learning differences affect education, work, and daily life.

Each assessment includes a detailed clinical report that clearly explains whether diagnostic criteria are met or not met, and why, alongside practical recommendations, reasonable adjustment guidance, and signposting to appropriate support.

Our approach recognises that learning differences exist within the wider context of neurodiversity, individual strengths, and lived experience.

Talking Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

MACC provides talking therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), tailored to the needs of neurodivergent individuals and their families.

Our therapeutic support is designed to help with emotional regulation, anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, adjustment following diagnosis, and the everyday challenges associated with neurodivergence.

Therapy is delivered by appropriately trained clinicians using a compassionate, neuro-affirming approach, ensuring interventions are accessible, respectful, and meaningful.

Support may be offered as a standalone service or as part of a wider post-assessment and psychoeducation pathway.

Flexible Access to Our Learning Support Services

At MACC, we understand that every neurodivergent person’s journey is different. Our Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD) assessments, talking therapies, CBT, and psychoeducation can be accessed either as standalone services or as part of a tailored assessment package.

You may choose to book support before an assessment, alongside assessment, or after diagnostic feedback, depending on your needs, preferences, and circumstances. Our clinicians will help guide you in deciding what is most appropriate at each stage.
