Specialist ADHD & Autism (ASD) care, delivered remotely
Masters Advanced Clinical Care (MACC) provides structured, evidence-based ADHD and Autism assessments and support for adults, children and young people across England.
Who we are
Masters Advanced Clinical Care (MACC) is a clinician-led neurodevelopmental and neuro-affirming service, grounded in both lived experience and clinical excellence. Many of our clinicians are neurodivergent themselves or have close family who are, shaping a service built on understanding, dignity, compassion, and integrity.
Care at MACC is delivered under the clinical leadership of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, with paediatric and psychiatrist consultant oversight, and supported by a multidisciplinary team including pharmacists, nurses, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, counsellors, psychologists, and specialist Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD) assessors. This integrated model ensures care is safe, evidence-based, and clinically robust.
We provide assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing support for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, and Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), including dyslexia, for adults, children, and young people. Our services also include medication assessment and prescribing where clinically appropriate, alongside talking therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and psychoeducation for individuals and families.
At MACC, we recognise that diagnosis alone does not change quality of life. A diagnosis is not a cure — it is a starting point. Our focus is on meaningful post-diagnostic support, helping individuals and families understand their needs, access the right interventions, and apply practical strategies at home, in education, and at work. Where required, we also support schools, colleges, and universities to promote understanding and reasonable adjustments.
All services are delivered through secure online consultations, making specialist neurodevelopmental care accessible, flexible, and consistent, while maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance.

Our values

Person-centred
We recognise that every person’s experience of ADHD and Autism is unique. We listen carefully to what matters to you, and we tailor assessment and support plans accordingly.

Evidence-informed
We recognise that every person’s experience of ADHD and Autism is unique. We listen carefully to what matters to you, and we tailor assessment and support plans accordingly.

Accessible
We deliver all appointments remotely, using secure video platforms and online tools. This helps reduce travel, time away from work or school, and geographical inequalities in access to care.

Collaborative
We work alongside GPs, schools, colleges and other services, sharing clear reports and recommendations so that support can continue beyond the assessment.

Safe & accountable
We operate within a clear clinical governance framework, with defined responsibilities for safeguarding, information governance, risk management and quality assurance.
Our approach to neurodevelopmental care
We view ADHD and Autism as neurodevelopmental differences that can bring both strengths and challenges. Our role is to:
- Provide clear, respectful assessments
- Offer explanations that make sense of lived experience
- Help people and families understand their profile, rights and options
- Support practical changes in home, education and work environments
We recognise the impact of late or missed diagnosis, masking, burnout and stigma, and we aim to provide a space where people can talk openly about their experiences.
Remote-first, UK-wide
MACC is a remote-first service. This means:
- All appointments take place via secure video consultation
- Questionnaires and forms are completed online
- Families and adults can join from home or another private setting
- We can offer consistent pathways across a wide geographical area
- Translation and interpretation services can be arranged where required to ensure accessible and inclusive care
Where needed, we work with local services to ensure that plans are realistic, safe and well-coordinated.
Working with the NHS & partners
We work with:
- GPs and primary care teams
- Local NHS services and commissioners
- Schools, colleges and universities
- Employers and occupational health services
In some areas, ADHD assessments may be accessed through NHS-funded routes such as Right to Choose or local commissioning.
Autism and combined assessments are often accessed privately or through specific contracts.
We are transparent about which routes are available in each case.
Quality, safety & improvement
Quality and safety run through every part of our work. We maintain:
- Clear clinical leadership and lines of accountability
- Structured induction, supervision and ongoing training for clinicians
- Regular audits of assessments, reports and outcomes
- Processes for learning from feedback, complaints and incidents
